We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 3 teacher to join a vibrant primary school in Hastings. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for young learners. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspiring and motivating Year 3 students to reach their full potential, ensuring they develop both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities
As a Year 3 teacher, you will:
- Develop and deliver engaging and interactive lesson plans that align with the National Curriculum, ensuring all students are supported in their learning.
- Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom atmosphere where every child feels valued and motivated to participate.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored support to help them achieve their goals.
- Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a collaborative and supportive school community.
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive and focused classroom environment.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events to contribute to the overall development of the school.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has experience teaching in a primary school setting.
- Is passionate about education and committed to promoting an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students and their families.
- Is creative and adaptable, able to employ innovative teaching methods to inspire students and meet diverse learning needs.
- Has a strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective assessment practices.
