Role Overview for an English Teacher:As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering dynamic and engaging lessons that foster students' literacy skills, critical thinking, and a deep appreciation for literature. You will have the opportunity to teach a diverse range of texts and genres, while helping students develop their writing, analysis, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons in line with the national curriculum for Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience is desirable).
  • Inspire and challenge students of all abilities to engage with and enjoy literature and language.
  • Foster critical thinking, discussion, and analysis of a wide range of texts, including fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and drama.
  • Assess, monitor, and provide constructive feedback on student progress, helping them achieve their academic potential.

Who We're Looking For:

  • A qualified English Teacher (QTS or equivalent) with experience teaching KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience is desirable).
