    Role Overview as a Science Teacher As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience is desirable). You will inspire students to develop their scientific knowledge, practical skills, and a lifelong interest in the sciences.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics, in line with the national curriculum.
    • Encourage a love for science and promote inquiry-based learning.
    • Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and practical skills through experiments and investigations.
    • Assess, monitor, and provide constructive feedback on student progress.
    • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student engagement and achievement.
    • Participate in extracurricular activities such as science clubs, STEM initiatives, and school science fairs.
    • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the ongoing development of the science department.
    • Ensure students are prepared for exams through tailored revision and guidance.

    Who We're Looking For:

    • A qualified Science Teacher (QTS or equivalent) with experience teaching KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience is desirable).
    • Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics, with the ability to teach across disciplines.
    • Passionate about science and capable of inspiring students to achieve their best.
    • Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.
