Individual Needs Assistant Needed

We are looking for a passionate individual who has experience or passion to work with children with additional needs, particularly Autism. This role will be supporting KS1 children with their learning, and social and emotional well-being.

The school is a vibrant and supportive setting with children's emotional development at the heart of everything they do. Children emotional and academic goals are designed around their individual learning journeys, and what they enjoy.

About you:

  • Be pro-active, confident and personable
  • Passion to support children with additional needs
  • Understanding of communication barriers and speech and language difficulties
  • An understanding of positive reinforcement
