This school is looking for a committed and resourceful Art Technician to ensure the smooth running of their vibrant art department.Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and organise materials, tools, and equipment to support engaging and dynamic art lessons.
- Maintain and manage inventory, including ordering and restocking art supplies.
- Provide hands-on support to students during lessons, offering guidance on techniques and safe equipment use.
- Set up and take down student artwork displays for exhibitions and school events.
- Keep the art studios and workspaces clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards.
- Support art teachers with administrative tasks, including record-keeping and resource management.
Key requirements
- Strong knowledge of art materials, tools, and techniques.
- Prior experience in a similar role within an educational setting.
- Excellent organisational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively engage with students and staff.
