Are you passionate about supporting young people and ready for a role that’s both meaningful and dynamic?Our partnered school in Hastings is looking for a Youth Engagement Mentor to work closely with learners who have social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.

About the Role

  • Work closely with a small class of learners to support their education journey
  • Adapt to individual needs and provide one-on-one support throughout the school day
  • Encourage positive behaviour and help keep students focused and engaged

What We’re Looking For

You don’t need formal qualifications or experience in education—just the right attitude and a passion for helping young people. However, the following experiences would be beneficial:

  • Supporting young people facing challenges in or out of education
  • Working with children or adults with mental health issues
  • Exposure to therapeutic approaches
  • Any previous experience with youth work, mentoring, or support roles
