Our client is seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Tax Accountant to join their dynamic team. What you'll do:
As a Tax Accountant, your role will encompass both direct and indirect taxes along with a wide variety of responsibilities. Your day-to-day tasks will include managing all aspects of tax compliance, reporting, and payment across multiple jurisdictions. You will be responsible for identifying and converting tax-saving opportunities while also assisting the business strategy through your expert tax forecasting and analysis. Your ability to understand the business will help you identify both risks and opportunities related to taxation. Your role will also involve mapping and improving various in-house processes while also preparing account notes for all territories.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Tax Accountant position brings a wealth of knowledge in VAT. You have at least three years of experience in corporation tax or VAT, coupled with intermediate excel skills. Your CTA/ACA/CA qualification or equivalent sets you apart from others. Your organisational skills allow you to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously. You are known for your problem-solving abilities and innovative thinking which allows you to see the wider business implications of projects. Your effective communication skills enable you to interact seamlessly with colleagues from non-tax/non-finance backgrounds.
