Tax Accountant part-time or full-time

Our client, a highly regarded brand name with a great reputation for providing a flexible and enjoyable working environment, has an interim need for a talented Tax Accountant to join its team. They are open to either on either a full time or part time basis, depending on the candidate's preference and will only be expected in the office for 2 days. Candidate must be available to start immediately. This team are responsible for managing all aspects of tax compliance, reporting and payment, as well as identifying any tax-savings opportunities and assisting business strategy by providing tax forecasting and analysis.Main duties include:* Completing and submitting tax filings including corporation tax, VAT, benefits and share schemes* Responding to the changing business strategy by providing tax support, ideal and analysis * Working with advisors in other countries as appropriate* Understanding the business to identify risks and opportunities * Forecasting tax exposure* Preparing accounts notes relating to all sites including on consolidation * Balance sheet reconciliationsKey skills & experience required:* ACA/ACCA/CTA Qualified* Intermediate Excel skills * Minimum of 3 years corporate tax and/or VAT experience * Ability to analyse and improve processes * Effective communication skills and relationship building across Finance and non-Finance * A keen problem solver, can adapt and show initiative * Excellent time management* Positive and proactive attitude This is a rare and rewarding opportunity for a bright tax professional to join this market leading organisation for a very long-term contract, where you will be working as part of a high-performing and close-knit team.
