Accounts Receivable Clerk - Part timeHatfield£30,000 - £35,000 pa (pro rata)Here at Every Step Recruitment, Finance & Accountancy, we are excited to be supporting our client with their requirement for an Accounts Receivable Clerk on a part-time, permanent basisYour day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Posting customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions
  • Updating receivables by totalling unpaid invoices
  • Maintaining records, invoices, debits, and credits
  • Resolving, validating and authorising deductions by entering adjusting entries
  • Reconciling invalid or unauthorised deductions by following pending deductions procedures
  • Resolving collections
  • Summarising receivables by maintaining invoice accounts; coordinating monthly transfer to accounts receivable account; verifying totals; preparing reports

You will have the following skills and attributes:

  • At least 2 years’ experience working within a fast-pace, high-volume Accounts Receivable/ Credit Control Team
  • Ability to work at speed and accuracy
  • Good team player with a positive "can do" attitude
