An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Facilities Manager to join a well-established organisation on a three-month temporary basis. This role is ideal for a proactive and organised individual with strong leadership skills and a background in facilities management.

Role Overview:

Reporting to senior management, the Facilities Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of services, ensuring a high standard of service delivery across cleaning, portering, reception, and postal services. This position requires a hands-on approach, strong problem-solving abilities, and effective stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage cleaning, reception, postal, and portering services
  • Conduct daily site inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational standards
  • Lead and support a team to deliver a high-quality facilities service
  • Manage contractor relationships and ensure compliance with service agreements
  • Monitor stock levels and oversee the procurement of cleaning and maintenance supplies
  • Maintain excellent communication with internal stakeholders to address facilities-related concerns efficiently

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience in facilities management within a similar setting
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Ability to problem-solve and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and compliance requirements
