Pay Rate: £16 - £24 per hour
Hours: Full Time, 40+ hours per week
Shift patterns: Monday to Sunday - AM/PM available

Full job description
Delivering furniture to homes across the South region, London, and the surrounding areas. Working to the schedule provided and communicating any difficulties to the Transport team throughout your day. Delivering a excellent quality of customer service, whilst also representing both the Client and Berry recruitment to a high standard. Great, inclusive working environment. Manual/heavy lifting required. Working alongside a drivers mate.
HGV Driver Requirements
- Hold a valid commercial Driving License with the Correct Categories C / C+E
- Have a Professional Driving Qualification called the Full Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
- Hold a Digital Tachograph / Smart Card.
- Understand and able to comply with Driver's hours and WTD legislation.
- Pass a standard drug and alcohol test.
- No more than the maximum of 6 penalty points on the Driver's License (No DD, DR or IN endorsements accepted).
- Manual handling/heavy lifting.
HGV Driver Responsibilities
- Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Be flexible to work at least every other weekend.
- Maintain electronic logs to track routes and deliveries.
- Complete daily maintenance checks on delivery trucks and notify transport manager of any issues.
- Use route navigation.
- Great customer service skills.
