About the Role:Our client are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee the safe and compliant operation of their Waste Recycling Facility in Hatfield . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in waste management, hold a WAMITAB Level 4 qualification and keen to develop and grow into a senior role.
Your Responsibilities:
- Ensure the facilities operate in full compliance with Environmental Permits, Planning Permissions, and relevant legislation.
- Meet regulatory and internal reporting requirements accurately and promptly.
- Manage and mentor staff, ensuring they are competent in their tasks and responsibilities.
- Drive operational efficiency and improve site productivity while maximizing throughput.
- Oversee transport logistics to ensure efficient loading and unloading of materials.
- Communicate effectively with various departments to align site operations with business goals.
- Maintain the highest standards of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ).
- Manage the P&L, including sales and costs.
- Ensure timely completion and submission of Waste Returns.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Waste management is essential.
- WAMITAB Level 4 MROC1 certification Essential.
- Strong leadership and people skills
- Good communication and organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and compliance requirements.
