The Role

Randstad Education are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Early Years Teacher to join our team on a full-time basis for maternity cover starting in September. This role will involve planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to the developmental needs of our youngest students. You will be an integral part of our supportive team, fostering a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Planning: Develop and implement lesson plans that inspire and engage young learners, ensuring they meet the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements.
  • Classroom Management: Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and development through play and structured activities.
  • Student Assessment: Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure each child reaches their full potential.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to support the holistic development of each child.
  • Continuous Improvement: Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance your teaching practice and stay current with educational best practices.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Education: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialisation or significant experience in Early Years Education.
  • Experience: Previous experience teaching in an Early Years setting, with a solid understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
  • Skills: Strong planning, organisational, and communication skills, with a commitment to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment.
