Overview:Tate is recruiting for an experienced and enthusiastic Events Coordinator to join a sociable collaborative team for an organisation based in Hatfield. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a varied and rewarding role, organising delegate attended events across Hertfordshire. The position offers room for progression over time and also involvement supporting other large, prestigious events too.

The Role:As Events Coordinator, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth planning and execution of events. Responsibilities will include:

  • Event organisation: Supporting with logistical aspects, from planning to delivery.
  • Delegate management: Promoting events, managing bookings, preparing attendee lists, and producing name badges.
  • Venue liaison: Coordinating with venues on catering, AIV facilities, and room setups.
  • Guest speaker coordination: Ensuring all requirements are met and communication is seamless.
  • Event day support: Providing meet-and-greet hospitality and handling unexpected matters calmly.
  • Post-event processes: Collating feedback and analysing results for continuous improvement.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1 years' experience in delegate attended event coordination, with a proven ability to coordinate multiple events.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for liaising with colleagues, delegates, guests and venues.
  • Competence in using Office software to manage bookings, attendee lists, and feedback.
  • A proactive, team-focused attitude, combined with the ability to work independently.
  • A valid driving licence and access to a car which you can use for business use as travel to event venues is required.
