What you'll do:

As a Labour Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective spend of labour by generating regular reports, identifying trends, and providing guidance on data interpretation. You will also be responsible for implementing workforce management systems, troubleshooting issues related to labour and scheduling tools, communicating findings in a clear manner, supporting budget processes, investigating month-end results, and making recommendations for improvements.

  • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as labour-to-revenue ratios and member satisfaction metrics
  • Own weekly reporting for UK and Europe, whilst making improvements to the reporting and enhancing analysis
  • Provide guidance to club teams on interpreting and utilising labour data effectively
  • Identify trends/opportunities to optimise staffing and reduce inefficiencies
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of workforce management systems (e.g. demand curves, rota management)
  • Work alongside the labour scheduling team to implement the Fourth scheduling tool into the clubs, across as many functions as possible with the objective of driving labour efficiency and resultant cost savings.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic issues related to labour and scheduling tools
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders in a clear and actionable way
  • Support on budget/forecast process, taking ownership of some key labour lines, making improvements/changes to budget models
  • Investigation of month end results and variance analysis to understand drivers vs budget and make recommendations on how to make improvements

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Labour Analyst role will bring strong numerical and analytical abilities supported by a relevant Accounting qualification. You should have excellent communication skills that allow you to deliver key messages from significant amounts of data. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential, along with familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau. Your ability to influence a wide section of the business and work across several different work streams will be key to your success in this role.
