Finance Analyst

£70-75k 

3 days a week - flexible on days and working arrangements.

Are you a qualified Finance Analyst looking for a new part time position? Due to a company re-structure a new position has been created. As a Senior Finance Analyst you will be reporting into the Chairman supporting the organisations growth plans. You will be CIMA or ACCA qualified with experience of working at a small to medium business. 

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Financial Planning: Developing and implementing financial strategies to support the organisation's goals.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Oversight: Ensuring adherence to financial regulations and compliance standards.
  • Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating financial risks to safeguard the organisation.
  • Cash Flow Management: Overseeing and optimising cash flow to maintain financial stability.
  • Investment and Capital Management: Managing investments and capital to drive growth and efficiency.
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Conducting detailed financial analysis and producing comprehensive reports for decision-making.

Skills & experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in an accounting role, with experience in small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
  • Experience in trading environments is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency with reporting tools
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables, is essential.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey financial insights clearly.
  • Demonstrated work ethics and reliability.
  • Ability to adapt and work effectively as part of a very small team.
