Our client, a well-established and highly respected mid-tier Chartered Accountancy firm in Hertfordshire, is looking for a talented and driven individual to join their team as a new equity Partner.

The Role:

As a General Practice Partner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s future while providing strategic advice to a diverse portfolio of clients. The role is multifaceted, encompassing all aspects of a Chartered Accountancy practice, with a particular focus on:

  • Business Advisory: Engaging with clients to provide high-level strategic business planning, financial advisory, and outsourced CFO services.
  • Accounts: Overseeing and reviewing complex accounts work, ensuring accuracy and adherence to the highest professional standards.
  • Audit: Handling a small but important portion of audit work (approximately 10% of the role).
  • Taxation: Providing high-level tax advice and solutions for corporate and individual clients.
  • Client Development: Building and nurturing long-term client relationships and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified with extensive post-qualification experience.
  • Proven track record in a general practice environment, ideally at a senior level.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to offer strategic financial advice.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
