A leading Independent IT Infrastructure and Services Consultancy are looking for an SAP Technical Analyst within the SAP Materials Management and Logistics Execution areas with exposure to Plant Maintenance and/or Production Planning and Sales and Distribution (SD) areas.

3-month contract to start ASAP, Hybrid (remote/Milton Keynes/Hatfield), Outside IR35.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in a service and maintenance-orientated environment and be technically proficient in the related areas of SAP.

Role and Responsibilities

Act as a core member of an agile, dynamic, focused team driven by business change and continuous improvement.

Collaboration with internal IS staff, business programme managers and third-party suppliers and partners.

Provide the interface between business stakeholders and IS development teams, to elicit, challenge, prioritise and document requirements.

Ensure that systems development is consistent with the defined specifications and that cross-platform requirements deliverables are aligned effectively, to ensure smooth interaction between systems.

The Ideal Candidate

Understanding of service and maintenance contract management, ideally in the Information Technology business

Strong technical experience of E2E Materials Management, Sales and Logistics Execution processes in SAP (Mandatory knowledge of ECC6)

Integration experience/experience in cross-platform development projects

Experience of implementing solutions in the areas of Logistics, Sales, Plant maintenance or Production

Exposure to Plant Maintenance and/or Production Planning and the supporting logistics processes

Strong experience in Warehouse Management

Thorough technical understanding of systems integration, ideally using SAP PI and Proxy Classes

Solid technical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret & present data clearly

Ability to be hands-on, self-motivated and a can-do attitude

Ability to collaborate and work with other team members and cross functional in other areas of the business

Strong personal ownership and highly delivery-focused

Strong communicator verbally and in writing, with keen listening skills

Well-organised, self-disciplined, and motivated
