Role:HCA (healthcare assistant)

Salary:24,000
Permanent/ full-time.
A fantastic private hospital based in Hertfordshire is looking for an experienced Theatre Healthcare Assistant to join their growing team.
HCA Duties:
- To provide support to the clinical staff in the delivery of first-class patient care.
- To support registered nurses in the assessment of care and participate without direct supervision in the planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care of patients.
- Deal with client and consultant requests in an efficient and professional manner.
- Chaperoning during patients consultations
- Wound assessment and changing of dressings
- Ensure the safe use and maintenance of equipment used within the clinic.
- Perform mandatory daily and weekly checks to ensure all clinical governance standards are adhered to.
Who are we looking for?
- IT literate
- Previous experience in a similar role, within either an NHS or private hospital setting.
- Excellent communicator with good interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow a clear instruction and feedback to senior staff
- Ability to work as part of a team, as well as on own initiative
- Able to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Must not require sponsorship as hospital cannot offer this.
