Are you a creative and passionate Art Teacher looking for a role where you can truly make a difference? Our Alternative Provision School in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, is seeking an enthusiastic educator to join our team and inspire young learners through art.

Our school provides tailored education plans for up to 60 students, offering a supportive and nurturing environment with small class sizes of no more than six pupils. Art is a vital part of our curriculum, allowing students to explore their creativity and develop confidence while pursuing qualifications up to GCSE level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging Art lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
  • Help students achieve their full potential by providing guidance on creative techniques and processes.
  • Develop and maintain individual education plans for students.
  • Regularly assess and monitor progress, adapting teaching methods as needed.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff to support a collaborative learning environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A degree in Art or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred, but we welcome applications from experienced Art educators.
  • Experience teaching Art at GCSE level.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Effective classroom and behaviour management strategies to create a positive learning environment.
  • A genuine passion for helping students with diverse needs thrive in their education.
