Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher looking to make a real impact? Join our supportive Alternative Provision School in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, where we provide tailored learning for up to 60 pupils in small, focused groups of no more than six students.

Our school specialises in offering personalised education plans, with Science taught up to GCSE level alongside vocational qualifications. We're passionate about nurturing the potential of every student in an inclusive and inspiring environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons up to GCSE level.
  • Develop and implement individual education plans for students.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students and their parents/guardians.
  • Track and monitor student progress, adapting teaching methods to meet their needs.
  • Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a collaborative learning atmosphere.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred, though relevant teaching experience will be considered.
  • Experience teaching Science at GCSE level.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for supporting students with diverse educational needs.
