- Collaborating with senior management to develop strategies aligned with business goals and objectives.
- Forecasting future workforce needs and plan for talent acquisition, development, and succession.
- Promoting employee wellbeing initiatives and programmes to support physical, mental, and emotional health.
- Designing and implementing effective onboarding processes to integrate new team members smoothly.
- Managing offboarding processes with dignity and ensuring all necessary exit procedures are followed.
- Handling employee-related issues, conflicts, and grievances
- Working with the business' existing performance management process, including setting goals, providing feedback, and conducting performance reviews with department heads.
- Designing and delivering training programmes to enhance team member skills and knowledge.
- Organising employee engagement initiatives, surveys, and feedback mechanisms to understand and address employee needs and concerns.
- Utilising data and analytics to track key HR metrics, analysing trends, and making data-driven decisions.
- Staying up to date on changes in employment laws and advise management on legal matters related to HR.
- A minimum of CIPD level 3
- Previous experience working within a Commercial Work Environment (not Public Sector)
- Proven experience in developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Strong understanding of employee wellbeing and work-life balance initiatives.
- Excellent employee relations skills, with the ability to handle conflicts and grievances effectively.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing employee engagement and retention strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster a transparent and open communication culture.
- Proven ability to nurture organisational culture and values.
- Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Must have a Full UK Driving licence as you may be required to visit other sites from time to time.
