A rapidly expanding team based in Hatfield is looking for a driven, self-starting HR Manager with a passion for building exceptional people and culture experiences! Along with a salary of up to £55,000 per annum, you will receive a range of benefits including 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, a pension scheme, regular company events, mental health support and onsite parking. This is a hybrid working role, with 2/3 days per week from home. Occasional visits to other sites may be required (around 1-2 visits per month) so you must drive and own your own vehicle. Key responsibilities as HR Manager:
  • Collaborating with senior management to develop strategies aligned with business goals and objectives.
  • Forecasting future workforce needs and plan for talent acquisition, development, and succession.
  • Promoting employee wellbeing initiatives and programmes to support physical, mental, and emotional health.
  • Designing and implementing effective onboarding processes to integrate new team members smoothly.
  • Managing offboarding processes with dignity and ensuring all necessary exit procedures are followed.
  • Handling employee-related issues, conflicts, and grievances
  • Working with the business' existing performance management process, including setting goals, providing feedback, and conducting performance reviews with department heads.
  • Designing and delivering training programmes to enhance team member skills and knowledge.
  • Organising employee engagement initiatives, surveys, and feedback mechanisms to understand and address employee needs and concerns.
  • Utilising data and analytics to track key HR metrics, analysing trends, and making data-driven decisions.
  • Staying up to date on changes in employment laws and advise management on legal matters related to HR.

  • Excellent employee relations skills, with the ability to handle conflicts and grievances effectively.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing employee engagement and retention strategies.

  • Proven ability to nurture organisational culture and values.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Must have a Full UK Driving licence as you may be required to visit other sites from time to time.
