Hybrid HR Manager

We're searching for a dynamic Hybrid HR Manager to join my client’s rapidly expanding team in Hatfield.

This role will be Hybrid with the opportunity to work from home 2/3 days a week. Occasional visits to other sites may be required but this will only be 1/2 visits a month so you must drive and own your own vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior management to develop HR strategies aligned with business goals and objectives.
  • Forecast future workforce needs and plan for talent acquisition, development, and succession.
  • Promote employee wellbeing initiatives and programmes to support physical, mental, and emotional health.
  • Design and implement effective onboarding processes to integrate new team members smoothly.
  • Manage offboarding processes with dignity and ensure all necessary exit procedures are followed.
  • Handle employee-related issues, conflicts, and grievances
  • Work with the business' existing performance management process, including setting goals, providing feedback, and conducting performance reviews with department heads.
  • Design and deliver training programmes to enhance team member skills and knowledge.
  • Organise employee engagement initiatives, surveys, and feedback mechanisms to understand and address employee needs and concerns.
  • Utilise data and analytics to track key HR metrics, analyse trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Stay up to date on changes in employment laws and advise management on legal matters related to HR.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience working within a Commercial Work Environment (not Public Sector)
  • Minimum Level 3 CIPD Qualification
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Strong understanding of employee wellbeing and work-life balance initiatives.
  • Excellent employee relations skills, with the ability to handle conflicts and grievances effectively.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing employee engagement and retention strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster a transparent and open communication culture.
  • Proven ability to nurture organisational culture and values.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Must have a Full UK Driving licence as you may be required to visit other sites from time to time.
