A Fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with previous facilities maintenance experience to work direct for a world renown professional institution and based at their large multi-purpose complex in Hertfordshire. Working direct for the client you will be offered better than average benefits package.

As part of a team consisting in 3 resident maintenance engineers the successfully candidate will be responsible for assisting the other Mechanical and Electrical Engineers cover the planned and reactive maintenance to mechanical and HVAC systems within a complex consisting in several different purpose buildings, including a warehouse, distribution centre and data centre. The daily duties will encompass the planning and implementation of planned and reactive maintenance to all M&E equipment and supervising any sub-contractors working on site.

The successful candidate will be self-driven and proactive towards the maintenance of the site and keeping down time due to equipment failure to a minimum. Engineers should have previously carried out the maintenance and repairs to HVAC plant, pumps, fire sprinkler systems, boilers, hot & cold-water services, plumbing etc.

You will be working on a Monday to Friday split shift basis 6am to 10pm and 2pm to 10pm (week about) with the opportunities to boost earnings with overtime opportunities and standby payment.
