Our vast direct-to-store (DTS) distribution network, comprising of 17 depots nationwide, enables us to make over 10,400 daily deliveries of our own chilled and frozen produce and that of third parties.

Our Distribution Centre in **Hatfield **is a major picking depot, employing more than 180 colleagues and operating a fleet of more than 80 vehicles. The depot serves major convenience retailers in the region.

What you'll be Doing?

The successful role holder will complete transport administration as directed by the Management team and will report into the Transport Compliance Manager.

Daily duties include but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring fleet documentation is stored correctly for the correct time periods
  • Ensuring that company vehicles are sufficiently maintained through defecting system
  • Accurate administration around tachographs
  • Answering incoming calls and resolving queries
  • Logging all transport issues
  • Communicating with vehicle service providers
  • Updating company trackers
  • Ensure all vehicles are maintained, serviced and road-worthy
  • Using Tacho Master to check infringements, missing mileage and missing dates
  • Executing maintenance plans to schedules, inspections and repairs
  • Working with relevant departments to understand and meet immediate and future transport requirements
  • License checks, adding new drivers to the system, creating mandates
  • Resolving internal queries and supporting internal departments request.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships internally and externally
  • IT literate with a strong competency on Excel.
  • Strong administration skills
