Barker Ross is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer in Hatfield.

Job Description:
Location: Hatfield, AL10
Role: Maintenance Engineer
Start: ASAP
Duration: Temp to Perm
Monday to Friday: 37.50hrs/week (working as part of weekly rota and call-out rota)
Salary: 31700/annum
N.B. Overtime available (including evenings and weekends)
Duties:
- Large redecoration works
- Building fabric repairs
- Lock changes
- Filter changes
- Minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry work
- Moving furniture and equipment
- Tiling work
- Footpath maintenance
- Gutter clearing
- Changing filters on air conditioning systems
- Supervising contractors to ensure they are following safe systems of work
- Completing all regular safety checks
Completing all preventative planned maintenance checks:
- Weekly fire alarm testing
- Water temperature testing
- Fire door checks
- Emergency light testing
- Fire extinguisher & fire blanket checks
- Communal lighting checks
- Undertaking building audits
Person Specification:
- Electrical, plumbing or decorating skills
- Experience of working in a similar role within the sector
