My client is looking for a Trace Agent to join their team, where you will utilise various databases and online resources to locate and verify contact information for debtors. This role is crucial in facilitating effective communication between our organisation and debtors, ensuring the efficiency of the debt collection process. The ideal candidate will be highly curious, resourceful and possess strong commercial awareness.

My client would consider someone full or part time for this role with the flexibility or working hybrid also.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Conduct thorough online research to locate accurate contact information for debtors using databases, public records, social media platforms and other sources.
  • Make outbound calls to verify and cross-reference collected data to ensure its accuracy and reliability.
  • Update debtor records as required and maintain strict confidentiality in line with data protection regulations.
  • Provide regular reports on tracing activities and outcomes to management, contributing to the overall effectiveness of our operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in using online search engines, databases and other research tools.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify relevant information from various sources.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, essential for effective data verification and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and priorities.
  • Commercial awareness and a basic understanding of the debt collection process are desirable.
