Are you an experienced Lifting Equipment Inspector who is looking to join a company heavily involved in the Film industry, providing mentorship to junior members of staff and receiving excellent pay?

This role will see the suitable candidate maintain a wide range of equipment, acting as a leading figure within the team and enabling junior inspectors development and success. The right candidate will demonstrate excellent verbal communication skills to direct and support colleagues as well as a strong knowledge of written documents such as risk assessments and progress reports.

The Role:

  • Provide support and knowledge to a range of junior workers, enabling their success
  • Conduct thorough inspections of a wide variety of lifting equipment including Manual / Powered Hoists and lifting accessories according to LOLER and PUWER standards
  • Identify and document equipment defects, malfunctions and safety concerns
  • Maintain accurate and detailed inspections reports for compliance purposes
  • Service, Repair and Inspect lifting equipment in the company workshop
  • Complete necessary paperwork in line with the companies set procedures
  • Adhering to QHSE regulations to ensure accurate and effective inspections
  • Perform a range of repairs in line with regulations

  • Time served in a similar position
  • LEEA Stage 1
  • Full UK Driving Licence
