MET Technician - Hatfield
Alecto Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled MET Technician to join a leading collision accident repair specialist based in Hatfield. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual to join a well-established team dedicated to delivering high-quality repairs and customer service.
Position Details:
- Location: Hatfield
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week
- Salary: 38,000 to 45,000 + bonuses
- No weekends
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out the removal and refitting of mechanical, electrical, and trim components in a variety of vehicles.
- Perform high-quality repairs on damaged vehicles, ensuring work meets the highest safety and quality standards.
- Diagnose and rectify any faults or damage to mechanical and electrical components.
- Liaise with the workshop team to ensure repairs are completed efficiently and on time.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all work completed.
- Ensure a safe and tidy workspace, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an MET Technician in a body shop or accident repair environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and trim repairs.
- Ability to work to a high standard, ensuring precision and quality in all repairs.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- A valid UK driving licence.
- Relevant qualification or certification (preferred but not essential).
