Overview

We are seeking a Transport Assistant to join our logistics central administration team. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient purchasing and administrative support for our logistics operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide purchasing and administrative support to logistics departments and sites.
  • Identify opportunities to drive cost savings within the department.
  • Manage purchase orders and resolve invoice queries.
  • Oversee time and attendance (T&A) records for front-line colleagues.
  • Carry out other reasonable duties in line with the role's requirements.

  • Strong multitasking abilities, with the capability to prioritise and manage workload effectively.
  • Adaptability to change within the business environment.
  • Discretion in handling sensitive or confidential information.
  • High standard of accuracy and keen attention to detail.
