Hunter Gatherer AHP are seeking either a qualified ACT Pharmacy Technician or a Pharmacist to join a hospital outpatient department based in Hertfordshire to start ASAP. This is a part time role, x2 weekdays per week. 

Location: Hertfordshire - Hospital Outpatients
Position: Accredited Checking Technician (ACT) OR Pharmacist (suitable for newly qualified)
Type: Part-time x2 days per week, flexible on days
Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch break. Total of 16 hours per week.
Salary: £16 - £22 per hour depending on experience and job type

About the Role:
Due to increased demand, our outpatient client is seeking either an ACT Pharm Tech to join their busy outpatient team in Hertfordshire. This role primarily involves checking work, with some dispensing duties as needed. They have an additional locum approved to support the team, and they anticipate needing this position for approximately 2 months, with potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform checking duties to ensure the accuracy of dispensed medications.
  • Assist with dispensing as required.
  • Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to maintain high standards of patient care.

Who We're Looking For:

  • An experienced ACT or a newly qualified pharmacist who is open to doing checking work.
  • Community pharmacists or those new to the GPHC are welcome to apply!
  • Availability for at least 2 days per week is essential; part-time candidates needed!
