A leading Surveying and Architectural Consultancy is looking for a proactive and organised Occupational Therapist to join their property team in Hertfordshire. The Occupational Therapist Role
The Occupational Therapist will assess how environments affect clients' occupational performance and identify tailored housing solutions-whether temporary rental accommodations or long-term homes with lifetime potential. Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting client consultations to determine accommodation needs and search criteria
  • Researching property options, liaising with estate agents, and arranging viewings
  • Attending viewings to assess property suitability and negotiating adaptations with landlords
  • Managing tenancy agreements or purchase negotiations
  • Producing assessments, progress reports, and market reviews
  • Advising surveyors and clients on equipment, adaptations, and overseeing project specifications

The Occupational Therapist
The ideal candidate will:

  • Have 2+ years post-qualifying experience within housing OT.
  • Demonstrate initiative, working autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Exhibit strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
  • Be creative in problem-solving and confident in making recommendations
  • Hold a clean driving license with access to their own vehicle
  • Be registered with the HCPC and have an enhanced DBS check
