Purpose of the role:

• To assist with the day to day running of the Compliance Department and to help communicate, maintain and monitor the on-going compliance activities within the business ensuring all regulatory requirements are fulfilled, documented and communicated in a professional and supportive manner.

Day to Day responsibilities

  • Work in collaboration with Business Units to enhance compliance and strengthen business processes
  • Support building Continuity Plan and improve current processes
  • Manage the updating of Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) documentation
  • Conducting interviews and surveys to ensure that employees are compliant with regulations across the company’s various departments
  • Conducting investigations to discover the root cause of compliance problems when they arise
  • Educating employees and partners through documentations and brochures on how to improve compliance
  • Examining and improving auditing processes to resolve compliance issues fast or prevent them entirely

Skills and Attributes:

  • Strong legal compliance experience and understanding auditing
  • Understanding of the importance of business controls & legal compliance
  • Inquisitive nature, question and investigate
  • Friendly, personable with the ability to build strong relationships
  • Thorough, Strong attention to detail, work with precision
