Our client is seeking an enthusiastic Year 3 teacher to join their committed team in Hatfield, Hertfordshire. Suitable candidates will start on a temporary basis, earning between £169 and £231 per day (London Fringe MPS equivalent) with a view to go onto a permanent contract in September
The job:
As a Year 3 teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality lessons to students aged from 7-8 years old. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing pupil progress, and contributing to the wider school community.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver well-structured lessons in line with the Primary curriculum.
- Assess, monitor, and report on the progress and attainment of pupils.
- Provide a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that meets the needs of all learners.
- Maintain high expectations of behaviour and create a positive classroom culture.
- Work with colleagues to develop and implement school policies and initiatives.
- Take on a leadership role in a subject or curriculum area, supporting staff and enhancing the school's provision.
- Communicate with parents, carers, and the wider school community to support pupil learning and well-being.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience of teaching within KS1 and KS2.
- A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Enthusiasm, creativity, and a passion for teaching.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
