  • An opportunity for an experienced Quality Inspector has become available.
  • The suitable applicant will be an experienced Inspector who has been in a low/medium volume manufacturing environment for precision machined components in the Aerospace, automotive or medical devices industry (preferably with Geared products).
  • The position would be part of a team that is responsible for carrying out all inspection duties, calibration, and all relevant documentation associated with quality and inspection.
  • Desirable skills/experience include experience of inspecting precision machined parts, use of general inspection equipment, good understanding of geometric tolerances, use and programming of CMM equipment, patrol inspection, first off and final inspection, FirstArticleInspectionReports to AS9102Rev B, a good working knowledge of Microsoft office, understanding of standards such as ISO 9001, TS 16949 and AS9100, strong interpersonal and communication skills, maintenance of functional procedures, control of monitoring and measuring devices, and continuous improvement tools and techniques.
  • Hours are 8am to 5pm Mon - Thurs and 8am to 1pm on Fridays.

You will be a team player, with excellent attention to detail and work well under pressure.

Desirable Skills / Experience:

  4. Use and programming of CMM equipment
  5. Patrol inspection
  6. First off and final inspection
  7. FirstArticleInspectionReports toAS9102Rev B
  8. A good working knowledge of Microsoft office
  9. Understanding of standards such as ISO 9001, TS 16949 andAS9100
  10. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  11. Maintenance of functional procedures
  12. Control of monitoring and measuring devices
  13. Continuous improvement tools and techniques
