The purpose of the role is to assist with the day to day of the Compliance Department and to help communicate, maintain and monitor the on-going compliance activities within the company.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Compliance Manager
- Deputise for the Compliance Manager
- Work in collaboration with Business Units and the Business Services Team to enhance compliance awareness and strengthen business controls/processes
- Support building the branch Business Continuity Plan
- Manage the updating of Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) documentation
- Conduct completion of various check sheets and questionnaires
- Lead the administration of various Compliance & Legal training activities
- Co-ordinate more structured face to face training
- Manage the set up and maintenance of the SAP system user profiles
- Ensure the issuance of the Compliance New Starter Induction Pack
- Maintain and upload policies and procedures on the Branch Intranet
- Maintain and upload branch authority matrices on the Branch Intranet
- Improve current processes
What the employer is looking for:
- 3 years + corporate compliance experience
- Understanding of the importance of business controls & legal compliance
- IT competent and confident using MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Ability to use own initiative, prioritise & learn fast
- Experience of business process mapping
