We are currently looking for a full- time permanent housekeeper to work in a hospital that cares for young adults.

Job description

This is a permanent role where you would be responsible for cleaning all areas of the hospital including wards, office spaces, bedrooms, and common passageways. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 months experience in working in a similar role, have a good work ethic and have excellent customer service. You will also need use of a car due to rural location and shift time 07:00-15:00 Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the hospital is cleaned to a high standard.
  • Communicate efficiently
  • Report any issues with equipment
  • Good knowledge of COSHH AND HACCP
  • Follow company policy at all times
  • Serve service users, staff and visitors with food and beverages
  • Maintaining storage procedures and stock rotation.
  • Assisting catering staff with various tasks
  • Work will include bank holidays

Successful candidate will have

  • Right to work in the UK

  • Use of a car
  • Enjoy cleaning and communicating with service users, staff and visitors
  • Be a good communicator
  • Knowledge of COSHH and HACCP
  • Have use of a care
