As a Business Development Manager, your role will be to:

  • Membership Consultation: Engage with potential clients to promote and discuss a range of value added membership tiers, understanding their business goals and recommending services that match their needs and budget.
  • Sales Pipeline: Constantly working with a live pipeline of business customers which you will personally grow and develop through a range of professional touch points, conversations and meetings through to successfully converting members.
  • Identify Revenue Opportunities: By up-selling or arranging collaborative events and sponsorship deals.
  • Networking & Events: Represent the organisation at regular events across Hertfordshire, building relationships with networking associates and raising the organisation's profile.
  • Team Collaboration: Actively participate in team meetings, contributing ideas, updating on client pipelines, and learning about upcoming initiatives.
  • Social Media Engagement: Use platforms like LinkedIn to promote the organisation's events, success stories, and other relevant updates.

About the Role:

  • Location: Based daily out of Hatfield, with flexibility for travel from the office to events and client sites across Hertfordshire.
  • Full-Time Role: A varied schedule that sometimes could include early-morning events or evening receptions.
  • Car Required: Given the travel across the region, a valid driving licence is essential.
