Site Agent - Civil Works - Sewage Water Treatment Plant
A leading civil engineering firm, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Agent to join our team on a major sewage water treatment plant project. This is a crucial opportunity to contribute to a project that will enhance essential infrastructure and improve the environment.
What You'll Do:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the civil works package, ensuring adherence to project specifications, deadlines, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and manage project resources effectively, including plant, machinery, and materials.
- Monitor construction progress, identify potential issues related to excavation, foundation construction, and other civil works, and implement solutions to maintain project timelines and quality standards.
- Maintain meticulous records of work progress and any issues that arise, including daily site diaries.
- Champion safety on the project, promoting a culture of awareness and enforcing the highest safety standards.
- Contribute to the successful completion of the project, meeting deadlines and achieving the highest quality standards.
What We Need:
- Proven experience as a Site Agent on civil engineering projects, ideally with experience in water treatment or sewage infrastructure projects.
- A strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations relevant to civil engineering, particularly in relation to water treatment facilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing a team and collaborating with stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a commitment to achieving project goals on time and within budget.
- A strong commitment to safety, with a proven ability to implement and uphold the highest safety standards.
