Residential Support Workers and Seniors required for Childrens Home in Hatfield Herts AL10
We are currently looking for dedicated, caring Support Workers to join our team in Hatfield
Children are typically aged between 11-18 and experience anxiety, mental health difficulties and occasional emotional distress EBD. They are supported by nurturing staff who provide them with the love and security they need to grow, develop and recover from past experiences.
We are looking for caring children's residential support workers committed to providing our young people with a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment and being a consistent role model in their lives.
Salary for Residential Support Worker
Support Worker £12.50 - £13.50 per hour depending on qualifications and experience Waking Nights £13.00-£13.50
Team Leader £13.50-£14.50
Sleep ins £50 required occasionally
Shifts are upto 40 hours per week 2 on 1 off this is subject to discussion.

Ensuring that the needs of the young people are being met and reviewing and recording changes to those needs.
What experience or qualifications would be required for Residential Support Worker and Senior

Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification is desirable; however training will be available.(essential for Senior)

Experience of supporting vulnerable young people within a residential care environment, or similar youth worker experience.

You will be compassionate, resilient, committed to being a positive role model and confident in managing challenging behaviours.

Flexible and able to work a residential care rota which includes evening, weekends and holiday periods and sleep ins.

Hold a valid UK driving licence.(essential)
