An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Systems Tester in Charge based in Hatfield. The System Tester in Charge will join the Control Systems Team in a Senior Testing capacity.

Role:

The successful candidate will be working in an area of the business that focuses on the latest technology solutions and innovation within Railway Signalling.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead Testing and Commissioning activities for a portfolio of projects
  • Be the lead on-site for project associated commissioning activities
  • Responsible for defining and controlling the testing activities, ensuring that suitable and sufficient evidence is gathered
  • Identifying the testing requirements and developing test plans which meet the requirements of the project

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience working as a railway systems engineer
  • Valid PTS ac/dc certificate
  • Knowledge of HSE requirements
  • Signalling Tester in Charge license 1.3.190 & Signalling Electronic Tester license 1.3.260

Desirable:

  • IOSH Managing Safety
  • Knowledge of contract conditions
