Job Purpose

The preparation of tax returns for a varied and growing client portfolio.
Preparation and submission of VAT returns.
Be the go-to contact for clients and third parties, proactively handling queries and solving problems.
Liaising with clients to obtain information, ensuring accurate data is received.
Preparation of client correspondence, via email and mail.
Owning responsibility of maintaining client records, updating information as required.
Preparation of assignments for senior management sign off.
Supporting the wider firm with other duties as needed.

The Successful Applicant

ACA, ACCA, CA or CTA qualified or a finalist.
Previous tax experience within practice.
Enthusiasm for delivering service excellence.
A natural people person, able to build trusted and respected relationships.
Sound IT skills and knowledge.
Good communication skills both written and verbal.
Strong attention to detail and organisation skills.
A self-starter who can also work collaboratively with the wider Tax team.
Articulate, motivated and punctual.
