Join our team as an Internal Sales Officer at a leading company engaged in the selling and marketing of high-quality electro-mechanical connectivity. This role is crucial for our day-to-day sales administration, requiring a proactive, highly motivated, and self-sufficient individual with an excellent customer focus.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Serve as the in-house commercial contact for both national and international customers, providing excellent service at all times.
  • Cultivate solid relationships with key customers to ensure a continuous flow of sales revenue.
  • Collaborate with fellow Internal Sales Officers to manage customer expectations proactively.
  • Create and follow up on quotes.
  • Liaise with external sales teams, planning, and purchasing departments.
  • Process orders from receipt through to fulfilment as cover when required.
  • Maintain records and ensure proper filing of relevant paperwork.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a busy sales office environment, ideally with key account management, customer service, and sales support.
  • Proven track record of proactive account management.
  • Experience in B2B and manufacturing sectors.
  • Demonstrated excellence in customer service skills to maintain and build customer relationships.
  • Confident telephone manner and effective communication skills in English.
  • Strong organisational, problem-solving, and prioritising skills.
  • Highly motivated and committed attitude with a ‘first time right’ approach.
  • Computer literacy; experience with ERP systems, SYSPRO, CRM, and QuoteWerks is advantageous, though full training will be provided.
  • An open, friendly personality capable of liaising effectively at all levels within the company to deliver high-level customer service.
