Cleaning operative
Main Purpose: We are seeking a dedicated cleaning professional to join our team. Your primary role will be to provide a comprehensive cleaning service that meets our contractual commitments. This includes tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, emptying bins, polishing surfaces, and mopping areas as required. All tasks must be performed in line with cleaning best practices and health and safety regulations. Enjoy 32 days of annual holiday.
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to legislative regulations, ensuring the correct use of colour-coded equipment.
- Comply with internal and external HSEA requirements.
- Deliver a cleaning service that meets our contractual obligations.
- Manage stock levels and order consumables through the correct channels to ensure service delivery.
- Operate machinery safely, following provided guidelines and training.
- Ensure a high-quality service is provided to building users at all times, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Report any concerns or issues to the supervisor immediately, such as broken equipment.
- Complete all duties within the allocated time to a high standard.
- Operate in accordance with the Soft Services Platform and handbook.
Relationships:
- External: Customers, Building Occupants
- Internal: Team Members, Manager
Reporting to Manager
Experience:
- Proven experience using chemicals and machinery safely.
Technical Competencies:
- Environmental Awareness Tool Box Talk
Role Specific Requirements:
Enhanced DBS and EL1
