The Role
This part-time, office-based role is ideal for someone organised and efficient who enjoys the variety of day-to-day finance tasks. You’ll work closely with our small, friendly team and play a key part in managing financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform bank reconciliations and allocate payments and receipts
- Manage the sales ledger, process invoices, credit notes, and monitor customer payments
- Oversee the purchase ledger, including invoice processing and supplier statement reconciliation
- Maintain the general ledger and support monthly account reconciliations
- Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies
- Assist with management reporting and administrative recordkeeping
- Respond to ad-hoc finance-related queries

The Ideal Candidate
You’ll be a detail-orientated individual with solid accounting experience and a proactive attitude. Comfortable working independently, you’ll take pride in delivering accurate, timely work. About you:
- Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar role
- Proficient in Sage software
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Able to work independently and prioritise tasks
- Clear and professional communication skills
