Job DetailsJob Title:Access Arrangements Co-ordinatorDepartment:Additional Learning SupportCampus:Havant / South DownsSalary:Grade 3 Spinal Point 12 £24,703.40Contract Type:Permanent / 37 hours per week / 40 weeks per year / South Downs Campus -with a day a week at Havant campusAbout the RoleThis is a role for an enthusiastic, organised and self-motivated team player who wants to deliver exceptional administrative support to the Exam Access Arrangements Team and our students.The role of the Access Arrangements Coordinator (Administrative post) is to assist the College Educational Psychologist and Access Arrangements Assessors in implementing and tracking all Exam Access Arrangements (EAA) Assessments. You will book appointments and update databases, whilst co-ordinating the completion of paperwork for all students who are eligible for exam access arrangements and ensuring the required evidence is up to date. In addition, you will apply to exam boards for EAA for all assessments including GCSEs, A levels, Cambridge Technical, BTECs, Functional Skills and T Levels whilst ensuring that JCQ deadlines are met.Integral to the role is building good relationships and working closely with the Additional Learning Support Lead Team, Teachers, Curriculum Teams, Administrative Staff, and the College Exams Officer in support of our students, to make sure that all needs are met and to ensure that all appropriate exam access arrangements for public and internal examinations are in place.Responsibilities You will be responsible for:
  • Support the College's Vision, Mission and Values and communicate them effectively.
  • Coordinate and integrate the ALS referral procedures and ensure the efficient processing of AA information from all the referrals/requests received.
  • Compile and quality-check student folder of evidence within college systems, ensuring regular monitoring of where evidence may not be enough.
  • Support the Head of SEND & ALS Manager in ensuring resources are deployed efficiently and effectively, confirming value for money and effective budget performance.
  • Act as the first point of contact in support of all external exam body inspections, providing evidence for justification of student Access Arrangements
Requirements You will need:
  • English to at least a Level 2
  • Educated to at least a Level 3
  • Hold a role relevant qualification
  • Excellent IT Skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times and maintain data security (GDPR)
  • Thorough understanding of the barriers to learning faced by students
