The Role - Design Manager
My client are looking to appoint a Design Manager to join their Design team, this can be a Hybrid role between office, home and sites.
You will ideally have 5+ years in cladding/facade and it would be adventurous to have fire remediation experience.
- Design involvement of the project from conception to completion
- Overseeing design stages, coordinating with architects, fire engineers and other colleagues
- Ensuring projects meeting critical deadlines
- Technical knowledge -understanding of fire safety regulations, cladding systems, and materials used in envelope cladding
- Compliance - ensuring designs comply with relevant standards and regulations
- Financial awareness - budget management, cost estimation and value engineering
- Leading a design team and mentoring others

Salary - 65,000 - 85,000 (salary may be increased if have remediation experience)
