Our client is looking for a Draughtsperson.
Working for a friendly company in a new building in an unusual industry.
Responsibities:
Taking R&D drawings, and producing pre production drawings
Oveseeing the update of existing drawings
Creation and modification of BOM's
Producing and editing MS Excel spreadsheets.
Offlline programming, using Solid CAM for the CNC machines
Design Jigs and fixtures for Production.
Requirements.
Excellent drawing skills using 2D/3D CAD software (Solidworks and AUTOCAD)
Working knowledge of MS Excel
Ideally have worked on the shop floor, and practical understanding of machine and assembly procedures.
Excellent attention to detail.
Keen to learn new skills
Ability to work with production from concept through to the design of the product.
Opportunities to grow within the company.
Salary is £37k to £40k doe.
21 days holiday plus bank holidays with additional day from 2 years to 5years of service.
