Sonic Summary

Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Cable Assembler for a contract position.
The role involves assembling coaxial cable assemblies, tinning, heat shrinking, crimping, and soldering, while following detailed instructions.
Candidates should have good concentration skills, excellent hand-eye coordination, and the ability to follow instructions.
The position requires at least 1 year of relevant experience, and on-the-job training is provided.
The working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:30-17:30, with a salary of $20-$25 per hour depending on experience.

Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is currently seeking a Cable Assembler for a contract position. This role involves working on the assembly of coaxial cable assemblies, using various tools and techniques, and ensuring that all tasks are performed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Assembly of coaxial cable assemblies
Tinning with solder pots
Heat Shrinking
Crimping with handheld or crimp-cradle
Working with multi-component connectors
Soldering with tongs or irons as appropriate
Following drawings and instructions for assembly tasks
Cable preparation and terminating connectors onto the cable
Working at a bench (either standing or sitting)
Automated and manual cutting of cable lengths
Automated cable stripping
Basic continuity testing to signal wave analysis and phase matching

Job Requirements:

Ability to listen well to instructions and guidance
Good concentration skills
Excellent hand and eye coordination and dexterity
