Workshop Assembler / Fitter

Working hours are Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm
£29,120 plus overtime opportunities.
Key areas of responsibility:
· Assemble/Fit products with acute attention to detail
· Assist in assembling, packing and labelling of orders to be dispatched on time
· Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the workshop to ensure all staff continue to work in a safe and pleasant environment
· Ensure goods are received, recorded, and stored correctly; this includes undertaking continuous stock control
· Dependant on workloads, it may be necessary to carry out over time in accordance with company policy
Role requirements:
· A flawless approach, demanding of high standards
· High attention to detail
· Manual dexterity
· The use of power, compressed air and hand tools in a safe manner
· Good communication with assembly, logistics, purchasing, and planning team
· Pride in a job well done and the ability to work as part of a dynamic team
· Use of manual drilling /Turning machines would be advantageous
· Experience with working to drawings
Candidate requirements:
· Careful and diligent, even meticulous
· Ideal Candidate will be experienced in polishing techniques, use of polishing equipment/machines would be an advantage
· Have a common-sense approach
· Willing to work as part of a team and take instruction
· Efficient, effective, and organised
· Be a confident and good communicator, good-humoured and trustworthy
· Informal but professional while respecting traditional courtesy and good manners
· Self-motivated with an upbeat can-do attitude
